It’s hard to say whether or not your sod survived. There are a lot of variables and some St. Augustine varieties are less cold tolerant than others, for example, Floratam. If you watered your sod well prior to freezing and it was sheltered by other structures then there might be a chance of survival. Only time will tell in the weeks to come if you will need to replace your sod or not.
